Edito de la Revue VERRE - Août 2005. Vol 11, n°4

Edito [Version française ]

With the recent law on lifelong professional training, employees now have an active say in their training.
They now possess tools such as the individual right to training (Droit Individuel à la Formation), the validation of acquired experience (la Validation des Acquis de l’Expérience) and skills
assessments (Bilan de Compétence)… An evolution full of interesting prospects for all those who want to take their future into their own hands.

Martine Braconne
Manager of Prover

But the choice of directions, the different stages to go through are often complex, even though the dialogue conducted within the company with the Human Resources Manager has been strengthened by the reform.

In that respect Prover, our training centre, is the only organisation entirely dedicated to glass technology.

Open to everyone, whether glass manufacturer or not, it can meet all your expectations: need assessment, skills analysis and the development of a training plan perfectly suited to the staff and to the company.

This continuing education, which only yesterday was presented as a frozen annual program, now offers a range of à la carte options, adaptable to every requirement of content or length. By developing targeted modules, whose programmes have been especially elaborated, in-house training courses meet these new and increasingly frequent demands.

Another novelty, the trainer regularly becomes a trainer/consultant, capable of bringing solutions to technical problems and even of contributing to the organisation of a team. In the same perspective, as well as its own in-house trainers, Prover boasts a network of contributors from industry, research and universities, all experts in their own fields. By taking part in the creation of professional qualification certificates (Certificats de Qualification Professionnels) and other certificate courses, it is building tomorrow’s world of glass, along with the main bodies concerned.

Mindful of the profession’s day-to-day life, Prover remains the privileged interlocutor for a functional and diverse training course, in a word: an efficient one.

We will be happy to receive your requirements and suggestions and we look forward to meeting you
