I want the
Institut du Verre to develop its service functions for
glass professions. In this respect,we need to:
• expand the experts group who work intimately
with the institute, to answer the various demands of
our members and customers,
• give a new orientation of PROVER training centre,
towards courses more adapted to glass professionals
expectations,
• broaden technology monitoring services to help
companies in their development,
• be even more attentive to the proposals and
suggestions of our customers and members.
Among other articles and specific studies, this fifth
release of the journal Verre delivers the 2003 results
of the French glass industry (coming from the French
Federation : FCSIV) and the results of the European
glass industry (coming from the Standing Committee of
the European Glass Industry). Everyone will be able
to find information relative to his branch.
Next month, the Glasstec Show in Dusseldorf will gather
the best of both technique and technology dedicated
to the glass profession. On this occasion, I hope that
every visitor will find the answer to his expectations
in terms of customer/supplier contact, helping him to
materialize new investments, always synonyms of innovation,
productivity and quality.
I wish you a very pleasant show
